An Incredible Story of Rebirth and Growth

I recently read a riches to rags to riches story, which I found to be incredibly inspiring especially for this time of year. It is a true story and the events took place over the last 10 years.

Michael Bryant was once the attorney general, in fact the youngest to ever to hold that position.

After leaving politics he became CEO of an investment company in Toronto.

Then, in 2009 he was involved in an altercation with a cyclist and was charged with criminal negligence and dangerous driving causing death. The case made headlines across the country and he resigned as CEO.

In 2010 all charges against him were withdrawn; however, by this time his marriage had already dissolved and a close relative had died. His life had begun to fall apart. He also was dealing with PTSD due to the accident.

At this point, it would have been easy to withdraw and give in to what seemed like fate, but Michael held on.

He began to attend a Christian charity and started helping out. He made new friends there and he talked to minister about finding a new direction.

As Michael was a lawyer by trade, he followed that path again and became a criminal lawyer for those in need. He works now out of the Brampton Court. The system he was originally overseeing is now what he is a part of and he was better able to see and handle the flaws of that system. The article also indicates the great compassion he has for those arrested. Why? Because he had been placed in the same situation.

It is an incredible story of charity, rebirth, compassion, perseverance, change and growth. Spiritual riches are much more valuable then monetary riches. Soul growth and expansion has a value that cannot be measured.
