The Law of Polarity
The first Universal Law I would like to discuss is the Law of Polarity.
If you do not subscribe to my newsletter I will briefly describe what the Law of Polarity means. Everything has an opposite. These opposites are part of the same thing, varying only in degree (e.g., hot and cold, light and dark).
Polarity is about balance. Think: Yin / Yang symbol and also how it forms a circle. You have the potential for feeling down, but you can also have the potential to feel elated. Life has ups and downs. It rains and it’s sunny. Both elements are necessary.
So as an example, do you operate from a place of lack or a place of abundance? How to test it? Well, write down 3 things you desire. Imagine now being able to do exactly what you desire. As you are imagining it, what are you thinking of saying to yourself? Are you saying things like: “Gee that would be great, but…” or “I only am wishing this to happen it doesn’t mean it will”
Well, that’s lack. So how do we get around this?
We can write a letter to ourselves from the place of abundance telling ourselves why we deserve where we see ourselves and also write about the feeling of abundance. We could begin writing and saying affirmations on a daily basis. We need to embody change. Some individuals suggest writing sticky notes and place them around our residence so that our desire and abundance are always present.
Another suggestion I have is to be aware of how you speak and think. We can be self-deprecating and this is operating from a place of lack, even if you are attempting to be humorous.
Think of a time you operated from a place of lack? How could you have operated from a place of abundance? Presently, ask yourself when you are in a situation or about to take action, am I choosing to operate from a place of lack or I am taking steps towards abundance? Be aware of your feelings and sense of self. Does it feel abundant or does it feel like lack?
In peace, Rho
