Rune Reading for December
I pulled Runes again for December 2025 to see what is in store for all of us this month. The following Runes came forward:
The first Rune is Laguz. It is about water and fluidity. Water is also about immersion. It is about awakening of the intuitive. This Rune represents the moon, and the moon is about unions and experiencing merging. It also is about Self-Transformation. Self-Transformation can occur if one connects to their intuitive side. It is time to Self-Relate!
The second Rune is of Othila (in reverse). This Rune is about letting go of old ways, old authority. If one continues to cling to old ways we may be not only hurting ourselves but others.
The third Rune is Raido (in reverse). This is about rerouting. We are going to experience less reconciliation and more fractures in our relationships. While areas in your life may feel like ruptures or blockages, the occurrence may be happening because there may be some unseen opportunities at this time that one will have a clearer picture of in the near future.
The final Rune is Hagalaz. Through disruption we experience liberty, change and release. One needs to break free from what is constricting us now, whether material or internal. Hagalaz is called the “Great Awakener”. Changes could arrive slowly or suddenly, coming to your service or you could literally have the rug pulled out from under you. It may feel you have no power in a situation however we have our will and inner strength. The more intense the disruption is, the more significant is growth required.
December is a time for growth and disruption. 2026 is just around the corner. The month of December is guiding us to prepare for the coming new year.
