The Law of Gender
This law is not so much about male and female gender but it relates to energies which are opposite. For example, the Sun (a driving force). It awakens us. It provides growth to plants, etc. The other energy is nurturing which could be considered the Moon. It is connected to sleep which we need to nurture ourselves by ensuring we have enough rest and relaxation in order to deal with each day.
Too bold of a driving energy, you could be wearing yourself thin or be coming across abrasive for some. The opposite for nurture is for example if you are a people pleaser then you risk being used or could come across seeming too needy or a worry wart.
Balance is the key! Since October is a month of reflection then this is an opportunity to take time to reflect and take stock in yourself. Are you feeling balanced or not? Is one energy coming through much stronger than the other? What are some things you could do to shift these energies?
Masculine energy embraces such things as willpower, action and knowledge. Feminine energy is about embracing such things as intuition, flow and creativity. Which energy do you feel you embrace more?
So how do we balance our energies? Well first you need to be aware of which energy you have been embracing more. If you are less energetic then you are embracing the feminine energy and if you are all go go go then you are embracing the masculine energy and will need a rest. Trying to balance energies can feel very uncomfortable at first especially if you have embraced one energy for a very long time.
I did mention earlier that spiritually October is considered to have the spiritual significance of reflection however it is also a month about transformation and gratitude. As we know October is related to Halloween or Samhain. It is considered the time when the spiritual “veil” is thinned. Transformation is preparing us for what it is to come. Dare I write it? “Winter”
The harvest has been collected and it is time to express gratitude for the harvest collected and reflect on the harvest collected. Spend time on reflecting on the year that has unfolded for you thus far. Two more months are still to unfold however it is a good time to take pause.
Again, take the time to reflect on transforming and write down some gratitude statements. October is the month for this type of action. Utilize the energy of this month to reflect on the self and always be kind and gentle with yourself when you are reflecting.
Happy Halloween everyone!
In peace,
Rho
