Rune Reading for September
The Runes that came forward this month are:
Kano (Rune of Openings). This Rune relates to clarity and dispelling darkness. If there has been darkness in some area of your life you will receive clarity. It is about receiving and giving in a non-attached way. It also opens up one’s insight into understanding what no longer serves or belongs and encourages through clarity to get rid of outdated thoughts or belongings. This rune guides you to understand that you are the core. With respect to relationships, it may offer a deeper understanding of each other and new approaches.
Hagalaz (Rune of Disruption). With Hagalaz or Disruption it brings awareness. It is like coming out of a deep sleep. What do we hold onto from our past that we cannot let go of? Some things could be arising from childhood and we have yet to let go of it or approach it. In order to let new opportunities in we need to create space for opportunities. What are we holding onto that is clogging up possible opportunities?
Ansuz (Rune of Signals). This Rune also relates to Loki. Loki is known as the trickster. This Rune is saying be aware of signals that are around you. For example, chance meetings or odd encounters, what are these moments trying to tell you? Do you hear the same song playing all the time or do you have a song that you cannot get out of your head? What message is being passed on? This is a Rune about the unexpected. The unexpected can bring out positive and negative things however through any situation wisdom is always being gained. New life is emerging and Divine is behind all things. Be aware and take the time to understand the messages and signals being brought forward.
Othila (Rune – Separation). This means it is time to let go of what no longer serves. Othila is about home, inheritance and separation. Shedding of old skins preparing for transformation. This Rune also relates to property. Is there something that needs to be given up in order to gain something? Since the month of September is about transition, how are we transitioning in our life right now? Are we approaching this transition by staying balanced or are we experiencing imbalance?
The message from the runes this month of September is indicating that there will be an opening and understanding however this shift will not come without some kind of disruption. There are signals that a new way or path is emerging. Change is coming. It is also indicating that connection to Divine is at hand. In order to embrace change, one needs to let go of those things that no longer serve. If we keep holding onto that which no longer serves we cannot move forward.
Ask yourself what no longer serves. What would you like to see change? Where do you think change or a renewal is needed? Take time to reflect. Make a wish list of changes you wish to see unfold. How could you action those changes? Spend time with Divine. In spending time with Divine, we allow not only connection but messages to be downloaded. What is the stranger you meet out of the blue telling you? Divine is everywhere.
