The Law of Cause and Effect
Basically, “What you sow, you shall reap.”
It is a principle meaning that “every action (cause) has a corresponding reaction or outcome (effect).”
Your thoughts, behaviors, and choices (causes) shape your experiences and life outcomes (effects).
We have to understand that the Law of Cause and Effect means that we need to take ownership over all our parts. As they say, “the good, the bad, the ugly.”
It is all about intent. The Universe is neutral. It responds to how we are expressing ourselves. That is why it is it important to work on ourselves and how we feel about ourselves. Working on mindset and how we approach things that occur in life. We need to have self-compassion for ourselves.
In basic terms, your present life represents how you see yourself. Habits are the cause and reality is the effect. So, what you are presently choosing is who you are. Your life represents what you have created.
In readings what has arisen is the question: What will you do with what has happened? Something to remember is that we all have choice. How we choose to react and be has a ripple effect on many areas of our life that are linked.
So, things to look at are do we hold grudges. Do we move past? Do we live in the past? How can we shift our present state to be positive? Gratitude is a good approach. Gratitude lists or even just expressing one’s thought of gratitude daily either when you arise or just before bed will help manifest a better approach to life.
Spend time noticing how you are about to act because it will have a reaction.
Our mindset is powerful. If you wish to embrace this law then change your mindset!
